Ascensión, el mayor de los hermanos Orduña, es el propietario de la finca El Pozo, ubicada en la Sierra del Gallego, Veracruz, a una altura de 1550 msnm.
Bajo una densidad arbórea del 70%, Don Ascensión cultiva las variedad arábica marsellesa, contribuyendo a la conservación del medio ambiente.
Aunque en años anteriores los hermanos Orduña solamente producían cereza para comercializar, en 2023 se acercaron de la mano de Filemón Hernández al programa Café Circular, beneficiándolo a través del proceso de semi-lavado, obteniendo un buen puntaje y un gran éxito en su estreno en España.
